Description and Indications

DESCRIPTION:

Erythromycin is a macrolid antibiotic mainly active against gram positive bacteria and mycoplasma spp . It acts by inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis. Erythromycin is absorbed and diffused in most tissues and body fluids rapidly when administered orally and reaches high concentration in plasma 1-4 hours.

INDICATIONS :

SPECTRA MYCIN-35 is highly active against infections caused by gram- positive bacteria and Mycoplasma. It is indicated for treatment of respiratory diseases, Mycoplasmosis, CRD, Coryza, Sinusitis and Infectious Synovitis.

SPECTRA MYCIN-35  is used also in stress conditions, transport and following vaccinations.

 

Dosage

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION : Oral

GENERAL PHARMACOLOGICAL DOSE : 20 mg / kg b.w.

DOSAGE  :

Poultry      :   0.5gm / 1liter of drinking water daily for 5 days.

Pharmaceutical Precautions
Withdrawal Period

Don't use poultry products during treatment and within 3 days from the last treatment.
