DESCRIPTION:

SPECTRA DOX-G is a synergistic combination of Gentamicin and Doxycycline.

 Gentamicin is a broad spectrum bactericidal aminoglycoside poorly absorbed from G.I.T. Doxycycline belongs to tetracycline group, a broad spectrum antibiotic completely absorbed from the G.I.T. Both antibiotics act by inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis.

INDICATIONS:

SPECTRA DOX-G is indicated for the treatment of CRD, Air saculitis, infectious synovitis, and infectious sinusitis in poultry, Pneumonia and Enteritis in calves and lambs caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, Mycoplasma, Rickettsia, Chlamydia, large viruses, and Salmonellosis

 

 

Dosage

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Oral

DOSAGE               

Poultry                    : 0. 5gm / 1liter of drinking water daily for 3-5 days.

Lambs and Calves: 5-10 mg / kg body weight, twice daily for 3-5 days.

Pharmaceutical Precautions

To be used only for young lambs and kids .

Withdrawal Period

Don't use animals and poultry products during treatment and within 5 days from the last treatment.
